Every year on occasion of the Furniture Exhibition, Area, the international architecture magazine published by the Sole 24 Ore Editorial Group, organizes cultural events as part of the Fuorisalone. This year, it will participate in the Trienniale with a retrospective on Karim Rashid’s work: "Karim Rashid – From the “beginning”, that will take place from April 12 to April 17. A path dedicated to his work, career, talent and therefore to his projects and products manufactured for major global companies. Videos, projects, installations, products will be the protagonists of the exhibition organized by Prof. Marco Casamonti, Area Magazine’s Director.
Among the designer’s career most significant products, the promoters selected Della Rovere’s ZERO desk. Stylish and functional it is a product designed with innovative materials for the Office Furniture sector, manufactured for this special occasion featuring black embossed paint.
The opening event will take place on April 12 at 8:00 pm at the presence of Karim Rashid who will hold a presentation speech from 9:30 pm to 11:00pm. The exhibition will end on Sunday, April 17 and it will remain open from 10 am to 10pm with the exception of the exhibition’s opening day.
